Construction Superitendent (E&IT)

Job Description • Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform E&IT discipline requirements of the project from yard activities to load out, ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded. • Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards. • Manage construction activities with a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Schedule. • Supervise and control Contractor/Subcontractor activities related to fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning. • Identify areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required. Minimum Qualifications & Experience • Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation. • 8 years experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in an E&IT supervisory position. • Experience with multinational teams. • Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions • Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies. • Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope. • Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope. • Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities. • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc. Show more Show less
