Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities • Operate steam or hot-water boilers and associated equipment. • Monitor pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption. • Inspect safety devices, pressure-relief valves, pumps, compressors, and fans. • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance. • Conduct boiler-water testing and support water-treatment activities. • Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions. • Maintain accurate operational and fuel-consumption records. Requirements • Technical qualification and a valid Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler operating experience. • Strong knowledge of boiler safety and water treatment. • Experience with steam and hot-water systems. • Able to troubleshoot and respond calmly to emergencies.
