Solar Energy Engineer (Site Engineer)

Company: Al Raqi Development & Construction Location: Near Al Madina, Saudi Arabia (on-site) Employment Type: Full-time, project-based About the Role Al Raqi Development & Construction is hiring a Solar Energy Engineer for a solar park project near Al Madina. The role begins with excavation and groundwork (digging for foundations, trenches, and cable routes). You will supervise site works and make sure they meet the design and safety requirements. Responsibilities • Supervise excavation, trenching, and foundation works for the solar park • Check that site works follow the approved design drawings and specifications • Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and site teams • Monitor progress, quality, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports • Support the later installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or a related field) • Minimum 2 years of experience in solar energy engineering • English at CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level B1 or higher • Own car (required for daily site travel) • Willingness to work on-site near Al Madina • Ability to read engineering drawings • Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred • Experience with solar park or utility-scale projects • Knowledge of AutoCAD (Computer-Aided Design software) or PVsyst (PV system simulation software) • Arabic language skills How to Apply Send your CV (Curriculum Vitae) to [email protected], or apply through LinkedIn.
