Warehouse Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 5 years in the UAE Industry: Furniture & Interior Design Job Description We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse & Logistic Supervisor to join our team at Jalsa Design. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, a confident personality, and the ability to build, manage, and motivate a team responsible for furniture deliveries, material handling, and warehouse operations. We are seeking someone who leads by example, takes responsibility, and is actively involved in daily operations rather than simply supervising from a distance. Key Responsibilities • Recruit, organize, train, and supervise a reliable team of warehouse and delivery staff. • Plan and coordinate furniture deliveries, loading, unloading, and material handling. • Actively assist the team with lifting, moving, packing, and handling furniture whenever required. • Ensure all furniture, particularly luxury and fragile items, is handled with exceptional care to prevent scratches, damage, or breakage. • Manage warehouse inventory, stock movement, storage organization, and accurate recordkeeping. • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain effective inventory control procedures. • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required. • Inspect furniture during receiving and dispatch to identify any damage or discrepancies. • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety standards. • Coordinate with management and the sales team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Requirements & Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the UAE, preferably within the furniture industry. • Strong personality with excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. • Proven ability to build, train, and manage a team of warehouse workers and delivery personnel. • Hands-on attitude with a willingness and physical ability to assist with furniture handling. • Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse procedures. • Forklift operating experience and practical knowledge of warehouse equipment. • Good understanding of safe handling procedures for luxury, delicate, and heavy furniture. • Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and manage multiple operational tasks.
