Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Muscat for PVC & PE Pipe plant. The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output across plastic packaging and piping product lines. Key tasks include managing production schedules, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, monitoring equipment performance, and optimizing resource utilization. The role involves supervising and mentoring production staff, enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and downtime. The Production Manager also collaborates with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to meet delivery commitments, support customer requirements, and align production capacity with business plans. Qualifications • Strong production and operations management skills, including capacity planning, workflow optimization, and shop-floor supervision. • Experience with manufacturing processes in plastics or related industries, including extrusion, injection molding, and packaging systems. • Knowledge of quality management practices, such as ISO standards, process control, and root-cause problem solving. • Proficiency in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and safe work practices within industrial environments. • Ability to use production management and ERP software for scheduling, inventory, and performance tracking. • Strong leadership, team-building, and people management capabilities, with a focus on coaching and performance development. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field; equivalent experience in manufacturing management may be considered. • Prior experience as a Production Manager or in a senior supervisory role within a manufacturing facility. • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or similar efficiency initiatives.
