Objective The Procurement Analyst for IT Business Solutions is responsible for supporting the procurement process for IT solutions and services within ASMO. This role will collaborate with stakeholders in Procurement to understand their IT solution needs and requirements. General Responsibilities • The role holder will have knowledge of the rules, procedures and in some cases, the principles and practices within the IT Business Solutions and Procurement disciplines. They will be tasked with selectively extracting, verifying, and compiling objective and measurable data. In some instances, they may determine the course of action based on established principles and modify existing processes and methods. Research and evaluate potential IT Procurement solution vendors and service providers based on their capabilities, expertise, pricing, and contractual terms; coordinate and participate in vendor meetings, demonstrations, and evaluations to assess their suitability for meeting the organization's IT needs. • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with selected vendors. • Support the end-to-end procurement process for IT solutions, including the creation of request for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluation, and vendor selection. • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with procurement teams to manage the procurement documentation, supplier contracts, and purchase orders related to IT solutions. • Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for IT solutions within Procurement, assessing the total cost of ownership and return on investment (ROI) for proposed solutions; identify opportunities for cost optimization, such as volume discounts, renegotiation of contracts, or alternative sourcing strategies. • Track and report on IT solution procurement spend and cost savings achieved. • Stay informed about the latest IT solution trends, innovations, and emerging technologies relevant to the organization's needs; conduct market research and benchmarking to identify new vendors, solutions, and procurement best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain management, procurement or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or any procurement-related/other relevant certification preferred • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role or in Technology Functions • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English Show more Show less
