We are recruiting a Regional Merchandising & Retail Operations Manager for an established international fine jewellery business, based in Dubai. ⠀ This is an opportunity for someone who understands luxury jewellery from both a product and commercial perspective and enjoys being involved in the day-to-day workings of a regional retail business. ⠀ The role sits close to the boutiques, the product and the regional leadership team. You will influence how collections are represented across different markets, how stock is managed and how effectively the retail network operates. ⠀ We are particularly interested in someone who has worked within an international fine jewellery Maison and understands that each boutique has its own client profile, commercial requirements and product opportunities. ⠀ THE POSITION ⠀ You will take responsibility for regional merchandising activity, working closely with retail management and international product teams to ensure the business has the right assortment and inventory across its network. ⠀ A large part of the position involves understanding what is selling, what clients are asking for and where opportunities exist to improve product availability and commercial performance. ⠀ You will review sales and stock performance across boutiques and retail partners, making recommendations on assortment, replenishment, allocations and future buying requirements. ⠀ The position also involves coordinating product orders, maintaining appropriate stock levels and ensuring that inventory is being used effectively across the region. ⠀ We are looking for someone who can look beyond the reports and understand the reasons behind the numbers. This means spending time with boutique teams, understanding local demand and making informed recommendations based on both commercial data and market knowledge. ⠀ Alongside merchandising, you will have an important role in improving how the retail business operates. ⠀ You will work closely with boutique management to identify operational challenges, improve internal processes and ensure that stores have the support they need to focus on clients and sales. ⠀ This could involve improving stock and ordering procedures, resolving recurring operational issues, coordinating with international departments or introducing more effective ways of working across the network. ⠀ You will also support the operational preparation of new boutiques and retail developments, working with different departments to ensure stores are ready to trade and new processes are properly implemented. ⠀ The role involves regular interaction with regional management, merchandising, supply chain, retail operations and international headquarters. You will be expected to communicate clearly between these functions and ensure that commercial priorities are followed through. ⠀ There will also be opportunities to support retail teams with product knowledge, collection launches and the development of stronger merchandising practices. ⠀ WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR ⠀ We are looking for an experienced merchandising or retail operations professional who has developed their career within international fine jewellery or high jewellery. ⠀ You should have a strong understanding of luxury jewellery products, retail performance and the importance of maintaining the right assortment across different boutiques and markets. ⠀ Ideally, you will bring at least six to seven years of relevant experience, with exposure to regional merchandising, buying, product planning, stock management or retail operations. ⠀ We would be particularly interested in candidates currently working as Merchandising Managers, Product Merchandising Managers, Regional Product Managers, Retail Merchandising Managers or experienced professionals combining merchandising with retail operations. ⠀ You should be confident analysing sales and inventory data, identifying commercial opportunities and making practical recommendations to improve performance. ⠀ Experience working with international headquarters, regional retail teams and multiple markets would be valuable. ⠀ A good understanding of boutique operations, inventory systems and the commercial requirements of luxury jewellery retail is important. ⠀ Strong communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage several priorities and work effectively with different departments. ⠀ Fluent English and Arabic are required. The position involves regional travel. ⠀ THE OPPORTUNITY ⠀ This is a broad regional position offering considerably more involvement than a traditional merchandising or stock planning role. ⠀ You will have the opportunity to influence product decisions, work closely with senior retail management and contribute directly to the development of an international fine jewellery business across the region. ⠀ We are looking for someone commercially aware, organised and genuinely interested in both the product and the business behind it.
