Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose • Manage and execute procurement and supply activities efficiently and transparently. • Ensure that procurement activities comply with approved specifications, prices, and terms. • Ensure that the company and project requirements are provided on time, with the best quality and cost Qualifications & Experience Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in engineering consulting, contracting, or project-based companies. • Experience in dealing with suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing price comparisons. • The applicant must be a Saudi national. Skills • Preparing and analyzing quotations. • Preparing commercial comparisons. • Reading and understanding basic technical specifications. • Knowledge of contract principles and commercial terms. • Understanding of basic procurement risk management and compliance. • Integrity and transparency. • Negotiation and persuasion skills. • Accountability. • Confidentiality. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Review purchase requests and ensure specifications, quantities, and approvals are complete. • Source qualified suppliers and request competitive quotations. • Compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, delivery time, and payment terms. • Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and recommendations. • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms. • Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. • Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Warehouse, and Finance departments. • Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
