Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION If you are a Storekeeper professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will support efficient warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods. You will contribute to operational excellence by maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production requirements, and promoting a safe, organized, and customer-focused warehouse environment. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Receiving • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure quantity and quality requirements are met. • Process receiving transactions, prepare receiving records, and accurately update inventory information within the business system. • Store materials in designated locations and ensure timely availability of components, supplies, and subcontracted items for internal stakeholders. • Report delivery discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality concerns and support corrective actions as needed. Store Management • Maintain accurate inventory records by processing all stock movements within the business system. • Perform cycle counts and inventory verification activities to ensure stock accuracy and promptly report discrepancies. • Ensure the warehouse is organised, secure, and maintained in accordance with established storage, identification, and housekeeping standards. • Monitor storage conditions to protect materials from loss, damage, or deterioration and support inventory optimization initiatives. Picking Activities • Pick, prepare, and issue materials according to production schedules and approved picking lists. • Replenish point-of-use inventory locations to support uninterrupted assembly and manufacturing operations. • Support Kanban and other replenishment methodologies to ensure material availability and inventory efficiency. Quality • Follow all applicable quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and company policies to ensure compliance with established standards. • Support quality objectives by maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to warehouse and material handling procedures. Packaging / Packing • Package and prepare products in accordance with Emerson, product, and customer-specific requirements. • Ensure all required shipping documentation is accurately prepared and included with outgoing shipments. Shipping • Prepare materials and finished goods for shipment in accordance with customer and company requirements. • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders to support timely deliveries and local transportation activities when required. Safety • Follow all applicable environmental, health, safety, and security policies and procedures. • Promote a safe workplace by maintaining awareness of hazards and ensuring safe work practices within the warehouse and storage areas. For This Role, You Will Need: • Diploma, technical certificate, or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. • Experience supporting warehouse, inventory, stores, logistics, or materials management operations. • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal. • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and hold relevant forklift and/or driving licences where required. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or process automation environment. • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools. • Knowledge of lean warehousing, Kanban replenishment, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Understanding of valve products, industrial components, shipping documentation, or freight coordination processes.
