Company Name: GREENLAND GROUP Location: Saudi Arabia Job Type: Full-Time Workplace Type: Not Specified Job ID: IJOB202672630 • Conduct inspection of welding activities to ensure compliance with approved WPS, drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards. • Verify material identification, MTCs, traceability, welding consumables, and storage/handling requirements. • Inspect joint preparation, fit-up, alignment, root gap, bevel angle, tack welds, and pre-welding conditions. • Monitor welding parameters, including preheat, interpass temperature, amperage, voltage, travel speed, and welding sequence, where applicable. • Verify the qualifications and validity of WPS/PQR and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ/WQT). • Perform and document visual inspection (VT) of completed welds and identify welding defects or non-conformities. • Coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT and review NDT reports/results against acceptance criteria. • Ensure weld repairs are properly controlled, inspected, and re-tested where required. • Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Weld Maps, NDT Reports, NCRs, punch lists, and QA/QC records. • Coordinate inspection activities with construction teams, welding supervisors, NDT technicians, client/consultant representatives, and third-party inspectors. • Ensure all inspection activities comply with applicable standards such as ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and project-specific requirements. • Participate in inspection hold points, witness points, material receiving inspections, and final acceptance inspections. • Identify non-conforming work, initiate NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. • Support the QA/QC team in maintaining project quality objectives and ensuring welding work is completed safely, correctly, and according to schedule. • Maintain complete and traceable documentation for turnover and final project dossiers.
