Company Name: GREENLAND GROUP Location: Qatar Job Type: Full-Time Workplace Type: Job ID: IJOB202673353 Job Responsibilities: • Operate and monitor steel rolling mill equipment and production lines. • Control rolling operations to achieve required steel dimensions, quality, and production targets. • Monitor process parameters such as rolling speed, temperature, pressure, and material flow. • Operate and adjust rolling mill machinery, stands, guides, rollers, and related equipment. • Inspect steel products during the rolling process and identify dimensional or surface defects. • Coordinate with pulpit/control room operators, production supervisors, maintenance, and quality control teams. • Perform routine checks of rolling equipment and report abnormalities or equipment faults. • Assist in machine start-up, shutdown, changeover, and adjustment activities. • Maintain production records, shift reports, and operating logs. • Follow standard operating procedures, production plans, and safety requirements. • Take immediate action during process abnormalities or emergency situations. • Maintain good housekeeping around the rolling mill area. Requirements: • Relevant experience as a Rolling Mill Operator, preferably in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment. • Good knowledge of steel rolling processes and rolling mill equipment. • Ability to monitor and adjust machine operating parameters. • Good understanding of industrial safety procedures. • Strong observation, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills. • Willingness to work in shifts and in a demanding industrial environment.
