Commis Chef – Saudi Cuisine

About The Job We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef – Saudi Cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation and production of authentic Saudi dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with the preparation and production of Saudi dishes according to standard recipes. • Prepare and organize ingredients and mise en place for daily operations. • Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with daily kitchen activities. • Assist in preparing traditional Saudi ingredients, sauces, and dishes. • Ensure proper portioning and consistent food quality. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment. • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times. • Properly store ingredients and prepared products following FIFO procedures. • Assist with stock rotation and minimize food waste. • Support the kitchen team during service and busy production periods. • Handle kitchen equipment safely and according to established procedures. • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth daily operations. • Perform other duties assigned by the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Management. Qualifications: • Culinary Arts or related qualification is preferred. • 1–2 years of culinary experience is an advantage. • Basic knowledge of Saudi cuisine and cooking techniques. • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
