Role Summary We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management and cost control of major high-rise tower projects across the UAE/GCC. You will take full responsibility for cost planning, procurement, variations, interim payments, claims management, and final account settlement from pre-contract through to project closeout. Key Responsibilities • Cost Management: Direct cost planning, budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and value engineering for high-rise structural, facade, and MEP packages. • Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts (FIDIC/local forms), manage interim payment applications, process variation orders, and oversee subcontractor accounts. • Claims & Disputes: Evaluate, quantify, and negotiate commercial claims, prolongation costs, and extension of time (EOT) entitlements. • Procurement & Tender: Prepare tender documents, bill of quantities (BOQ), contractual risk evaluations, and trade package comparisons. Requirements • Experience: 15+ years of quantity surveying experience, with extensive expertise on major high-rise commercial/residential building projects in the UAE or GCC. • Commercial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract, local GCC standard forms, POMI/CESMM measurement methods, and dispute management. • Education: B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering (MRICS certification highly preferred). • Skills: Expert cost estimation, advanced contract negotiation, financial reporting, and fluency in English.
