🚨 We’re Hiring: Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor 📍 Location: Dubai, UAE 💼 Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our Developer Project Management Team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong financial control throughout the project lifecycle — from feasibility, cost planning and tendering through post-contract administration, variations, cost forecasting and final account settlement. 🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Contract • Prepare initial cost estimates, elemental cost plans and preliminary budgets. • Review BoQs, tender documentation, Provisional Sums and package pricing. • Evaluate contractor and consultant tenders and prepare commercial comparisons and tender evaluation reports. Post-Contract • Review and verify monthly Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs). • Evaluate and negotiate variation claims, RFVs and cost impact submissions. • Conduct site visits to verify physical progress against payment applications. • Monitor project cash flow and maintain accurate Cost-to-Complete (CTC) forecasts. • Support Value Engineering (VE) initiatives and cost-reduction strategies. • Assist with contract closeout, final accounts and claims/dispute settlement. 🔹 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Civil Engineering or Commercial Management. • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer, PMC or Tier-1 contractor in the UAE • Strong knowledge of UAE/Dubai construction practices and pricing • Familiarity with FIDIC forms of contract • Proficiency in NRM2, POMI or CESMM • Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling skills • Experience with QS/commercial software such as CostX, AutoCount, Primavera, SAP or Oracle is an advantage • Strong analytical, negotiation and commercial skills • Excellent written and verbal English communication If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer looking to grow your career within a developer-side project management environment in Dubai, we would like to hear from you. 📩 Interested candidates are invited to apply or share their CV. #Hiring #DubaiJobs #UAEJobs #QuantitySurveyor #CostEngineer #QSJobs #ConstructionJobs #RealEstate #ProjectManagement #CostManagement #CommercialManagement #UAEConstruction #DubaiCareers Show more Show less
