Marketing Manager

Remote, with travel across the GCC Full time 6 month fixed term contract, with the opportunity to go permanent Ideally based in the UAE or wider GCC, but not essential About ME-IN The Gulf is one of the most active sources of private capital in the world, and one of the hardest to access. The Middle East Investor Network (ME-IN) exists to change that. We connect allocators and investors with private market opportunities across the GCC and internationally. Our community brings together family offices, sovereign and government related investors, institutional allocators, fund and asset managers, and the advisers and ecosystem players who make deals happen. We do it through invitation only events, sharp editorial and a trusted network built from the ground up. Our flagship events include the Saudi Investment Exchange in Riyadh, ALTInvest in Dubai and Future Funds in Abu Dhabi, alongside a year round programme of private dinners, roundtables and closed door briefings. Our goal is simple: to be the region's most credible platform for private markets education, insight and connection. The role ME-IN is a startup entering its growth phase. We have already built a marketing engine that fills rooms with senior investors across the region. Now we need someone to take ownership of it and shape it for where the business is going next. You will own the ME-IN brand, how we communicate and how we keep our network engaged. The foundations are in place, but this is not a role where you simply keep things running. We want you to bring fresh ideas, and we will back them. You will have the freedom to be creative and work independently, with the founders on hand for support, advice and guidance whenever you need it. The aim is to build the marketing function together as we grow. What you will do Event marketing • Own and run the 12 week marketing cycle for each event, from launch to the day itself • Plan and deliver campaigns across email, LinkedIn, the website and partner channels to bring the right senior investors to every event • Track registrations and campaign performance, and adjust quickly based on what is working Brand and communications • Protect and evolve the ME-IN brand so it looks and sounds consistent everywhere we show up • Publish and showcase our editorial, including the Middle East Investor Brief, so it reaches and grows the right audience • Turn what is happening across the region's private markets into timely, engaging content for our channels • Produce and deliver partner collateral and sponsor marketing commitments, from campaign assets to post event reporting Network engagement • Grow and segment our investor community, with a focus on family offices and institutional allocators • Keep members and partners engaged between events, not just in the run up to them • Capture content and run live social coverage on site at our events Marketing partnerships • Build and manage partnerships with media partners, industry associations, publications and community networks for each event • Negotiate reciprocal promotion, discounted delegate passes and content exchanges that extend our reach into new investor audiences • Keep a partner pipeline for every event cycle and make sure each partnership delivers on both sides What we are looking for Ambition and confidence come first. We value drive above everything else, so if you have the hunger and the personality to own this role, we can help with the rest. Beyond that, we are ideally looking for: • A self starter who can work independently and remotely, and travel across the region for events • At least 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B events, financial media or professional services • A proven record of driving registrations or audience growth for senior, high value events • Strong writing skills and a good eye for clean, credible brand presentation • Confidence with email platforms, CRM systems, LinkedIn and basic analytics • Experience building media or association partnerships is a plus • Familiarity with the GCC market and the investment community is a strong advantage, but not essential • Arabic is a plus, but not essential This is not a role for someone looking for the structure of a large corporate. It is fast moving and constantly evolving, in a business that is growing quickly. If that excites you, we want to hear from you. What we offer • Real ownership of a brand and marketing function at an early, high growth stage • A front row seat at the region's leading private markets events, and time spent with senior investors across the GCC • Flexible, remote working • A clear path to a permanent role for the right person How to apply • Send your CV and a short note on why this role excites you, along with a campaign or event you have marketed, to [email protected]. Please put "Marketing Manager" in the subject line. Show more Show less
