Project Manager - Dewatering & Pumping

🚨 Hiring: Project Manager – Dewatering & Pumping 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE 🏗️ Industry: Dewatering / Pumping / Construction 💼 Experience: 10+ years 🎓 Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 🚗 Requirement: Valid GCC Driving Licence We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple dewatering and pumping projects across Abu Dhabi. The role is hands-on and will be responsible for project delivery, engineering supervision, team leadership, commercial control, equipment utilization, client management, business development, and HSE compliance. Key Responsibilities • Manage multiple Abu Dhabi dewatering and pumping contracts from award through completion. • Develop project programmes and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and contractual requirements. • Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, plant and other resources. • Prepare and approve method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work. • Provide technical guidance to engineers, foremen, chargehands and site teams. • Monitor project measurements including water levels, discharge flows and as-built records. • Manage variations, claims, valuations, site records and contractual documentation. • Monitor project costs and support timely invoicing and collection. • Coordinate effective utilization and deployment of pumps, plant and equipment. • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers. • Identify new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Industrial, Dewatering and Pump Rental sectors. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote proactive safety practices. Requirements ✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Geotechnical/Geology, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field. ✅ 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, construction or project management. ✅ Experience in dewatering, groundwater management, pumping or related projects is preferred. ✅ Good understanding of hydrogeology, engineering geology or civil engineering principles. ✅ Strong network of clients, consultants and contractors in Abu Dhabi. ✅ Experience with Abu Dhabi authority approvals and discharge permits is an advantage. ✅ Strong commercial, contractual, planning and cost-control skills. ✅ PMP certification is an advantage. ✅ Valid GCC Driving Licence. ✅ Excellent English communication skills. ✅ Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving abilities. ✅ Willingness to take a hands-on approach to project and site management.
