About the job Have you spent the last few years handling group medical in the UAE, from quotes and census files to additions, deletions, and renewals, and now want to take that expertise to an exciting tech platform serving the insurance industry? A funded Dubai health insurance tech platform has built a marketplace that connects companies directly with health insurers, with no broker in between. HR teams compare quotes, buy cover and manage everything on one platform, from additions and deletions to claims, certificates and renewals. This isn't joining a sales team. It's building one. What's in it for you? • AED 20,000 to 25,000 basic salary per month, dependent on experience, plus commission on the revenue you bring in • A package built around your target earnings: the mix is flexible, and the founder will show you exactly how you get there and beyond • Equity potential for the right person • A genuine early path to General Manager of the business • Real independence and no micromanagement, working directly alongside the founder • The chance to move from a traditional insurance setting into a fast-growing tech startup, without starting from scratch What will you be doing? • Winning UAE companies onto the platform, typically SMEs and mid-sized businesses moving away from traditional broker arrangements • Owning the full sales cycle, from first conversation with HR or the CEO through to onboarding • Building and leveraging relationships with insurers across the UAE market • Joining the founder in CEO level and government meetings • Representing the brand at events • Working towards a monthly target of new insured lives What do you need? • Around 3 to 5 years in UAE medical insurance, at a broker, insurer or TPA • Hands-on group medical knowledge: quotes, census, additions and deletions, claims, renewals, and DHA and DoH requirements. • Genuine excitement about tech and startups, and the drive to help build something new • Confidence in front of CEOs, HR heads and senior stakeholders • An independent, positive, "make it happen" attitude • Existing client and insurer relationships are a strong plus • Arabic and/or French is a significant plus • Based in Dubai and happy to work from the DIFC office five days a week to start Show more Show less
