We are supporting a leading Abu Dhabi-based investment organisation in the search for a Senior Procurement Specialist - Market Data Services. The role will own the end-to-end procurement and lifecycle management of financial information services, including Bloomberg, LSEG, FactSet and Nasdaq, with a strong focus on contracts, renewals, licensing, vendor management and cost optimisation. Robert Walters is supporting a leading Abu Dhabi-based investment organisation in the appointment of a Senior Procurement Specialist - Market Data Services (MDS). This is a specialist procurement role responsible for the end-to-end management of market data and financial information subscriptions used across the organisation. The successful candidate will be highly hands-on and capable of independently managing the full lifecycle of market data services from initial requests and contracting through to renewals, transfers, cancellations and vendor negotiations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the full lifecycle of market data and financial information subscriptions, including new requests, user additions, transfers, renewals, downgrades and cancellations. • Manage relationships with key market data providers including Bloomberg, LSEG / Refinitiv, FactSet, Nasdaq, MSCI, S&P Global and similar providers. • Review and manage subscription agreements, licensing terms, notice periods, renewals and termination requirements. • Maintain accurate records of users, licences, contract dates, costs and service usage. • Proactively manage renewal timelines and ensure notice periods and contractual deadlines are not missed. • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors across pricing, renewal terms, enterprise arrangements and service agreements. • Identify opportunities to optimise spend through licence consolidation, usage reviews, renegotiation and cancellation of under-utilised services. • Act as a key user of TRG Screen Optimize / Optimize Spend for contracts, inventory, spend and renewal management. • Support the wider procurement team across sourcing and procurement activities where required. • Work closely with Finance, Legal, investment teams and internal stakeholders. • Ensure invoices, licence costs and vendor charges are accurately reconciled against contractual terms. • Maintain a high level of governance, accuracy and attention to detail across all MDS activities. Candidate Requirements: • Approximately 8-10 years of experience across procurement, contracts, vendor management or sourcing. • Strong hands-on experience within Market Data Services / financial information procurement. • Experience working with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, LSEG / Refinitiv, FactSet, Nasdaq or similar. • Strong understanding of subscriptions, licensing, renewals, notice periods and vendor contracts. • Experience with TRG Screen Optimize, Optimize Spend or a similar MDS inventory / spend management system is highly desirable. • Experience within financial services, investment management, asset management or another sophisticated corporate environment is preferred. • Strong commercial negotiation and cost optimisation capability. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. • CIPS, CPSM, CPP or an equivalent procurement qualification is preferred. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Highly diligent, organised and detail-oriented with the ability to take ownership from day one.
