Senior Analyst, Digital Commercial & Financial Solutions

JOB PURPOSE: Senior Analyst (Group Commercial & Financial Solutions) deploys, customizes, maintains, and supports high quality, cost effective Commercial & Financial solutions to meet ADNOC Group digital business requirements. Senior Analyst (Group Commercial & Financial Solutions) plans, coordinates and participates in development of domain specific strategies and plans and in the evaluations and reviews of business processes required for new solutions deployment, existing applications and services change management, applications security and controls, and the provision of enhancements of existing applications, solutions, and services. The Senior Analyst (Group Commercial & Financial Solutions) leads and coordinates the development and support of required interfaces between existing and future systems. Participates in the evaluation of packages to match business requirements and undertakes configuration, testing, upgrade, and maintenance of the Company digital solutions and services. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Identification of Business Needs • Partner with Group Commercial & Financial process owners to identify the technological needs and explore solutions to build and maintain a scalable and agile IT solutions meeting all current and future business requirements while ensuring alignment of all Trade & Financial related IT Business Solutions projects with approved ADNOC Group Digital & Cybersecurity standards, including the security standards and overall enterprise architecture framework. • Plan and conduct feasibility studies, business cases, request for proposals and proof of concepts following Group Digital & Cybersecurity project management methodology for new IT solutions or services. • Review third party proposals and technical documentation for digital Solutions to assure alignment to defined protocols and security governance standards. Provide expert analysis to the management highlighting technical concerns if any and recommend the optimum terms to support negotiations with the vendors. • Create architecture specifications and high-level design documentation for new or enhanced Group Digital & Cybersecurity Services for all Group Commercial & Financial business solutions. Group Commercial & Financial Solutions Standards and Framework • Conduct research and consolidate best practices in digital solutions management and ensure maintenance of an up-to-date internal best practice repository in line with the overall Group Digital & Cybersecurity framework. • Collaborate with the corporate Group Digital & Cybersecurity Security function to develop the guidelines and policies for the Group Commercial & Financial solutions to ensure that all Group Digital & Cybersecurity solutions are following the defined framework. • Provide support in disaster recovery planning to ensure alignment with the business continuity plan from the information security. • Validate compliance of related Group Digital & Cybersecurity projects and (internally or externally) developed solutions with architectural standards and principles. • Analyse and improve data and application architecture to provide end-to-end (cross-application) support. Group Commercial & Financial Solution Development • Lead the development program/projects for Group Commercial & Financial solutions ensuring efficient and effective project management and considering all factors like approach/integration, scope, time, cost, quality, people, communications, risks management, and procurement to meet business needs. • Provide expertise to achieve business/ technical / operational efficiency by setting up a consistent and integrated organisation wide information model facilitating the integration, security, shareability and accessibility of all Group Commercial & Financial information. • Plan, organize, manage, and control various stages in the business application development project life cycle in order to ensure its timely completion, meeting agreed project parameters, standards and objectives. • Design and implement test plans (in collaboration with vendor representatives and internal clients) and conduct User Acceptance Testing and accurately document all outcomes to ensure the functionality and viability of the solution being delivered. Group Commercial & Financial Solutions Delivery • Conduct the analysis, scope development, technical evaluations, and prototyping, developing, implementing, and delivering solutions • Capture business requirements related to the Group Commercial & Financial domain. • Ensure the delivery of the vertical’s business requirements and services according to the Company standards and strategies. • Support the vertical’s business users and beyond in line with pre-set SLAs and delivery guidelines. • Lead the development, implementation and support of high quality and cost-effective Group Commercial & Financial solutions and services deemed critical to the business operations. • Ensure that the Group Commercial & Financial solutions section meet the appropriate service level agreements established with internal and group users’ functions. Also, that the services delivered by the engaged external organizations are delivered within the agreed service levels. • Ensure that all deployed Group Commercial & Financial solutions have followed a comprehensive testing and quality assurance process, quality assurance reviews and have fulfilled the Group Digital & Cybersecurity Unit services release process requirements. • Ensure that the enterprise architecture principles, data management and information security standards are applied throughout the solution development and implementation lifecycles. • Report to the digital Solutions management on the progress of assigned programs and projects against plans, in terms of schedule, resources and cost. • Ensure that all programs and projects are managed in compliance with the Projects Management Methodology and related standards. Conduct systems' pre-deployment activities • Conduct feasibility studies, assess business requirements and assist in designing business processes for small to large systems and implementations. Submit findings and recommendations for review, evaluation and approval by digital and Business management. Lead feasibility studies of digital Programs undertaken within the Unit wherever required. • Analyse functional requirements including input transactions, output reports, functional processes, etc. and recommend solutions and process improvements for user approval to establish functional specifications. • Perform impact analysis for new development to ensure synchronization and integration of cross functional business solutions and systems. • Support in the development of business cases and projects initiation documentations and artifacts. Evaluate new solutions and services • Evaluate off-the-shelf packages to ascertain the degree of fitness with existing business processes and recommends appropriate solutions to business requirements. • Technically support the existing ERP and other enterprise solutions implementations • Wherever required, develop the required interfaces between various solutions while ensuring systems and data availability, integrity and service continuity. • Develop fit-for-purpose and secure software programs.

Senior Analyst with experience in deploying, customizing, maintaining and supporting digital solutions for commercial and financial functions; ability to plan, coordinate and participate in development of domain-specific strategies; experience in evaluating business processes for new solutions deployment, change management, application security and controls; experience leading development and support of interfaces between systems; ability to evaluate packages to match business requirements; experience in configuration, testing, upgrade and maintenance of digital solutions and services. Proficiency in governance, security standards, enterprise architecture, disaster recovery planning, and project management methodologies. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
