We're building the future where every employee can be their own data analyst. The Role We're seeking a Technical Project Manager to orchestrate the delivery of our AI analytics platform. You'll be the operational backbone ensuring our engineering team executes efficiently while working directly with our Product team. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can translate complex technical requirements into organized, executable delivery plans. What You'll Own Sprint Planning & Execution • Help plan and facilitate sprints across backend, AI/ML, and frontend engineering teams • Work with the team on product requirements and own delivery planning synced with delivery tickets • Coordinate feature delivery across multiple workstreams and technical dependencies • Ensure sprint commitments are realistic and delivery timelines are met Cross-Team Coordination • Manage handoffs between backend data infrastructure, AI/ML algorithms, and frontend integration • Identify and resolve blockers before they impact delivery timelines • Coordinate with Technical Product Director on feature prioritization and scope decisions • Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment across engineering disciplines Delivery Operations • Maintain and update project roadmaps with accurate delivery estimates • Track and report on engineering velocity, burndown, and delivery metrics • Manage risk assessment and mitigation planning for technical deliverables • Coordinate customer demo preparations and release planning Quality & Process Management • Establish and maintain engineering processes (code reviews, testing, deployment) • Ensure proper documentation of technical decisions and system architecture • Coordinate QA testing cycles and bug triage processes • Manage technical debt tracking and resolution planning Stakeholder Communication • Provide weekly delivery updates to leadership and key stakeholders • Coordinate customer feedback integration and feature requirement clarification • Manage communication between engineering team and sales/customer success • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives What You Bring Technical Project Management Experience • 4+ years managing technical product delivery, preferably in AI/ML or data platforms • Proven track record of delivering complex software products on time and within scope • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools • Understanding of software development lifecycle and technical dependencies Technical Depth • Ability to understand and communicate about data infrastructure, APIs, and system architecture • Experience with AI/ML project complexities (model training, data pipelines, integration challenges) • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern development practices • Can engage in technical discussions without being a hands-on developer Stakeholder Management • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business teams • Experience managing expectations across engineering, product, sales, and executive stakeholders • Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and resolve conflicts • Strong presentation skills for customer demos and executive updates Process & Operations • Experience establishing engineering processes in fast-growing startups • Data-driven approach to measuring and improving team productivity • Understanding of quality assurance and release management practices • Ability to balance feature velocity with technical debt management Bonus Points • Experience with enterprise software delivery and B2B customer requirements • Previous work in analytics, BI, or data platform companies • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications • Experience coordinating across distributed/remote engineering teams • Background in technical consulting or customer-facing technical roles What We Offer • Competitive salary and equity package • Central role in building and scaling our engineering operations • Direct impact on product delivery and customer satisfaction • Collaborative environment with autonomy to establish best practices Tools You'll Use • Project Management: Jira, Linear, or similar agile tools • Communication: Slack, Notion, Google Workspace • Development: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines • Analytics: Custom dashboards for delivery metrics • Customer Coordination: CRM integration for feedback tracking The Impact You'll Have In your first 90 days, you'll establish the delivery rhythm that enables our engineering team to consistently ship features to enterprise customers.
