Sr. Contracts Administrator

Job description: Job Summary: DAR Engineering International is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Contracts Administrator who focuses on the effective administration, management, and coordination of contracts from initiation through the closeout of project lifecycles. The role ensures that contractual obligations, commercial requirements, documentation, variations, claims, payments, and compliance matters are properly maintained and administered in accordance with contractual terms and conditions. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and manage contracts throughout their full lifecycle. • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with contract terms. • Coordinate contract documentation, correspondence, and records. • Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling. Thorough knowledge of prime contracts management administration as well as (sub) contract formation and administration, execution office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project. • Formation and administration of (sub) contracts: pre-qualification, compilation of bid requests, receipt of bids, bid evaluation, award, monitoring Contractor performance, back charges, resolution of claims and disputes. • Technical & administrations and knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices, government and commercial procurement regulations and practices, policies, procedures and work practices. • Review, process, and track contract variations and change orders. Manage claims, disputes, and contractual risk-related matters. • Review and verify payment applications, invoices, and financial obligations. Support commercial negotiations and contract amendments. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors on contract-related matters. • Prepare contractual reports, analyses, and recommendations for management.
