Penspen is looking for a Site Turnaround Planning Engineer for one of the PMC projects. Job Title: Site Planning Engineer Job Purpose To lead the site-based planning and scheduling function for ADNOC projects, ensuring full compliance with ADNOC procedures and project objectives. The Site Planning Engineer will manage and oversee EPC contractors' planning deliverables, monitor construction and shutdown/turnaround progress, and provide schedule visibility to ADNOC site management. Job Description Key Responsibilities: • Develop, update, and monitor detailed shutdown/turnaround and construction schedules using Primavera P6, in accordance with ADNOC standards. • Develop, track, and control shutdown/turnaround work packages and ensure integration with site execution plans. • Implement ADNOC project control systems, procedures, and reporting mechanisms at site level. • Supervise and coordinate EPC contractors’ planning and scheduling teams, ensuring alignment with project milestones and ADNOC-approved baselines. • Review and validate contractors’ baseline schedules, progress updates, look-ahead plans, recovery schedules, and progress measurement systems. • Chair and participate in site planning and coordination meetings involving End users, Operations, PMC, and EPC stakeholders. • Conduct weekly schedule performance reviews with EPC planners and ADNOC discipline leads, highlighting variances and proposed mitigations. • Monitor critical path, float trends, and productivity metrics; report potential delays or disruptions. • Evaluate schedule impacts of change orders, site instructions, or technical queries, and recommend corrective actions. • Support weekly and monthly ADNOC progress reporting, ensuring accuracy and traceability of all planning data. • Ensure full coordination between construction, commissioning, operations, and shutdown activities. • Interface with ADNOC Operations and End-User teams to integrate operational constraints and requirements into project planning. • Handle planning coordination for multiple EPC contractors and subcontractors across various work fronts and packages. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university. • Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and controls, with at least 5 years in ADNOC projects. • Demonstrated experience managing EPC contractors in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6, including resource loading. • Strong understanding of shutdown/turnaround methodologies and ADNOC project lifecycle requirements. • Familiarity with ADNOC procedures, permit systems, and site-level reporting requirements. Skills & Competencies: • Excellent communication and coordination skills with ADNOC, EPC, and PMC stakeholders. • Strong leadership and decision-making capability in schedule driven environments. • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and critical thinking. • Ability to manage multiple interfaces, priorities, and fast-paced execution schedules.
