Cost Control Engineer

Build the Numbers Behind a Landmark Destination We are building a family entertainment center in Jizan, and we need a Cost Control Engineer who can keep the project financially sharp from the first excavation to the opening day. If you enjoy turning complex cost data into clear decisions and want your work to shape a venue that families will enjoy for years, this role is for you. What You Will Do • Develop and maintain the project budget and cost breakdown structure • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and forecasts • Compare actual costs against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions before small issues become big ones • Track subcontractor and supplier payment certificates, purchase orders, and contract costs • Link quantities and progress data to cost, and run Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses • Assess the cost impact of variation and change orders • Work closely with the planning team to integrate time and cost • Deliver clear, confident reporting to senior management and the client What You Bring • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering • 8 years of cost control or project controls experience on site-based projects • Experience on family entertainment centers, malls, theme parks, tourism/leisure facilities, or other large-scale building projects (international experience preferred) • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project • Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting tools are a plus • Strong command of EVM, cash flow, and forecasting • Solid understanding of FIDIC and contract management • Good English; Arabic is an advantage • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is a plus Show more Show less
