• Manage the company’s UAE Corporate Tax compliance and annual tax filing process. • Prepare and review financial and tax information required for the annual Corporate Tax Return. • Perform tax adjustments from accounting profit to taxable income and support corporate tax calculations. • Handle current and deferred tax accounting and reconcile relevant tax accounts. • Monitor updates to UAE Corporate Tax legislation and assess their impact on the company’s operations and financial reporting. • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors on Corporate Tax compliance, tax reviews and related matters. 2. VAT Compliance • Manage UAE VAT compliance and prepare quarterly VAT Returns. • Review output VAT, input VAT, import VAT and Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) transactions. • Perform reconciliations between VAT GL accounts, VAT Returns, sales/purchase records and customs/import data. • Review the VAT treatment of sales, purchases, imports, exports and cross-border services. • Follow up on VAT payments, adjustments, refunds and historical reconciliation items. • Provide VAT guidance to finance and business teams on invoices, contracts and transaction structures. 3. Transfer Pricing • Manage the company’s related-party transactions and UAE Transfer Pricing compliance requirements. • Maintain related-party lists, related-party transaction schedules and intercompany balance records. • Prepare information required for the annual UAE Transfer Pricing Disclosure Form. • Coordinate and support the preparation and annual update of the Master File and Local File, where applicable. • Support benchmarking analysis and monitor the company’s profitability and related-party pricing against the arm’s length principle. • Review the Transfer Pricing implications of intercompany sales, purchases, service fees, management fees, financing and other related-party transactions. • Coordinate with headquarters and external tax advisors to implement the Group’s Transfer Pricing policies in the UAE. 4. DMTT / Pillar Two • Monitor UAE Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (DMTT) and OECD Pillar Two developments and compliance requirements. • Support the assessment of the company’s and Group’s applicability under Pillar Two / DMTT regulations. • Collect and prepare financial, tax and Group-level information required for DMTT compliance. • Support calculations relating to GloBE Income, Covered Taxes, Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and Top-up Tax. • Coordinate with headquarters and external tax advisors on DMTT registration, filing and other compliance requirements. • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the company. 5. Tax Compliance & Risk Management • Maintain the company’s Tax Compliance Calendar and ensure all tax filings and payments are completed accurately and on time. • Manage routine tax matters and information maintenance through the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal. • Support responses to FTA inquiries, tax audits and tax inspections. • Conduct periodic tax compliance reviews, identify potential tax risks and recommend corrective actions. • Provide tax support for major contracts, new business models and cross-border transactions. • Coordinate with headquarters, finance teams, business departments, auditors and external tax advisors on tax-related matters. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline. • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation or tax compliance; UAE tax experience is strongly preferred. • Practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations and filing procedures. • Experience in Transfer Pricing compliance, including Disclosure Form, Local File, Master File and benchmarking analysis, is preferred. • Knowledge of OECD BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two and UAE DMTT is highly preferred. • Good understanding of IFRS and tax accounting principles. • Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills. • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems is preferred. • Experience with Big Four accounting firms, multinational companies or large corporate groups is an advantage. Language Requirement • English and Chinese are the working languages for this position. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese are required. • The candidate should be able to communicate professionally in English with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and local authorities. • The candidate should also be able to communicate effectively in Chinese with headquarters, management and internal business teams, including the preparation and explanation of financial and tax-related information.
