Position - Senior Legal Counsel Reporting To - Senior Legal Manager Job Purpose: The Senior Legal Counsel provides practical, commercial legal advice, drafting and negotiating agreements, managing legal risk, and supporting the Director of Legal, Governance & Compliance on corporate matters and compliance. Technical Skills • Strong drafting and negotiation skills. • Ability to review and negotiate commercial agreements independently. • Sound legal research and analytical capabilities. • Ability to identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations. • Experience managing external counsel where required. • Excellent written and verbal English. Experience • 5–8 years' post-qualification experience. • Experience within a reputable law firm and/or multinational company. • Strong exposure to commercial agreements and corporate advisory work. • Experience in retail, franchising or multinational businesses would be advantageous.
