Role Description The Music Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based at Elite Private School in Abu Dhabi. The Music Teacher will plan and deliver engaging music lessons that cover theory, performance, and appreciation across appropriate grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to help learners develop musical skills and confidence. The role involves organizing and directing performances, ensembles, and school events, as well as collaborating with colleagues to integrate music into broader curriculum initiatives. The Music Teacher will also maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and communicate regularly with families and school leadership about student learning and achievements. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Music Theory and general Music knowledge. • A diploma in Education or Bachelor degree in education is must. • Candidates should possess practical Music Performance skills, with the ability to demonstrate techniques and mentor students. • Candidates should possess expertise in Music Education, including lesson planning, assessment, and age-appropriate pedagogy. • Candidates should possess Piano skills sufficient to support instruction, accompaniment, and student performances. • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification or license is preferred. • Experience teaching music in a school setting, ideally in an international or diverse environment. • Ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning experiences and manage classroom behavior effectively. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage families. • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, concerts, and school events that showcase student talent.
