Role Description This full-time Site Engineer role is based on-site in Dubai and supports the successful delivery of interior fit-out, retail display, and exhibition booth projects. The Site Engineer oversees daily construction activities, coordinates with project managers, designers, and subcontractors, and ensures work progresses according to plans, specifications, and schedules. Responsibilities include monitoring site operations, performing quality control checks, verifying structural and civil engineering requirements, and addressing technical issues promptly. The role also involves tracking project milestones, preparing site reports, enforcing health and safety standards, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to keep projects on time and within budget. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills, with experience managing daily site activities and coordinating multiple teams. • Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with project managers, clients, consultants, and site personnel. • Candidates should possess quality control skills, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards. • Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to interior fit-out and construction projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, with prior experience as a Site Engineer in construction or interior fit-out. • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, using construction-related software, and preparing site reports and documentation. • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, timelines, and cost efficiency. • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai or the UAE is highly beneficial.
