Manager Accounting

Team: Finance Activity: Full-time Role grade: Manager (6) Direct reports: 1 Indirect reports: 0 Reporting to: Director Finance Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Purpose: As Manager Accounting, your role is to oversee the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial analysis, and compliance with financial regulations Duties And Responsibilities • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll. • Manage accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations IFRS. • Coordinate and manage external audits. • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and stakeholders. • Develop and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements. • Manage accounting systems and software. • Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent. A master's degree is preferred. • 10+ years of experience in accounting. 2 years in a managerial role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Experience in financial reporting and analysis. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficiency in accounting software and systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Prior experience working in KSA and understanding of local nuances. • Fluent in written and verbal English and Arabic.
