Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Consultant

Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Consultant with 10–20 years of overall experience and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end Oracle Fusion Procurement implementations, functional configuration, business process analysis, requirement gathering, testing, reporting, and production support. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, and technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable Oracle Fusion Procurement solutions aligned with business processes and organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation and transformation projects. • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from procurement and business stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion Procurement functional solutions. • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Procurement modules based on business requirements. • Provide functional expertise across areas such as: • Procurement • Purchasing • Self-Service Procurement • Supplier Management • Sourcing • Supplier Qualification • Procurement Contracts • Spend Classification • Design and optimize procurement business processes using Oracle Fusion best practices. • Configure procurement workflows, approval hierarchies, purchasing policies, requisitions, purchase orders, and related processes. • Support supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, supplier registration, and supplier lifecycle processes. • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation. • Support integration of Procurement with Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle Cloud modules. • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, interfaces, reports, and extensions. • Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and master-data activities. • Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities. • Develop and support procurement-related reports and analytics using OTBI and BI Publisher. • Provide functional support during go-live, hypercare, and post-production phases. • Conduct workshops, product demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and user training. • Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, procurement teams, finance teams, and other stakeholders. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications • 10–20 years of overall experience in Oracle Procurement/ERP functional consulting, with significant experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement. • Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation projects, preferably with one or more end-to-end implementations. • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. • Hands-on experience with modules such as Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, and Procurement Contracts. • Strong understanding of procurement business processes, purchasing cycles, supplier management, and approval workflows. • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional configuration, testing, and deployment. • Experience working with OTBI and BI Publisher for procurement reporting and analytics. • Experience integrating Procurement with Oracle Fusion Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle modules. • Strong experience in functional documentation and preparation of functional specifications. • Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills. • Experience working with onsite/offshore delivery teams. • Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Good to Have • Experience working on large-scale Oracle Fusion Procurement transformation or implementation programs. • Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, and Supplier Lifecycle Management processes. • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Procurement integrations. • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL/HSDL, and data migration would be an advantage. • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement security, roles, approval rules, and workflow configuration. • Experience in developing complex OTBI analyses, dashboards, and BI Publisher reports. • Experience with Oracle Fusion Inventory, Order Management, or Financials would be beneficial. • Experience working with GCC/UAE procurement processes would be an advantage. • Oracle Procurement Cloud/Fusion certification would be preferred. • Prior experience working in a client-facing consulting environment. • Experience in Agile or structured Oracle implementation methodologies.
