Government Engagement & Approvals Manager Position: Government Engagement & Approvals Manager Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – On-site Contract: 6 months, extendable with potential conversion to a permanent role Joining: Immediate Experience: 8–12 years Reporting to: Chief of Staff – Physical AI We are looking for an experienced Government Engagement & Approvals Manager to support a strategic project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in government affairs, public-sector consulting, or working within a ministerial environment in Saudi Arabia, with an excellent understanding of Saudi government protocols. Key Responsibilities • Map and manage key stakeholders across ministries, regulators, and sovereign entities. • Own the government engagement cadence and ensure effective stakeholder coordination. • Prepare briefing packs and capture key outcomes and debriefs following senior-level engagements. • Track government approvals, dependencies, and action items through to closure. • Convert government support and commitments into clear, actionable workplans. • Support internal governance requirements, including preparation of evidence and materials for executive committee and board-level discussions. • Prepare senior principals for minister-level engagements and other high-level government interactions. • Handle sensitive government and stakeholder matters with exceptional discretion and professionalism. Candidate Requirements • 8–12 years of experience in government affairs, public-sector consulting, or a ministerial office in Saudi Arabia. • Strong understanding of Saudi government structures, protocols, regulatory processes, and stakeholder engagement. • Demonstrated experience engaging with ministries, regulators, sovereign entities, and senior government stakeholders. • Native-level Arabic with strong written and spoken English. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and executive-preparation skills. • High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
