Procurement Data & Catalogue Specialist (Excel Power User) 📍 Business Bay, Dubai | 2-month contract (likely extension) | Mon–Fri, office-based Do you get more excited about a clean XLOOKUP than a coffee break? If you're the person who turns 10,000 messy rows into one tidy, trusted catalogue, and you like doing it, we'd like to hear from you. Our client, a leading F&B distributor in the region, needs a hands-on data specialist to help build and maintain their procurement catalogues in Oracle Fusion. What you'll be doing • Building, cleansing and maintaining procurement catalogues and item master data (descriptions, categories, UOMs, pricing, attributes) • Using Excel to find duplicates, gaps and inconsistencies before they reach the system • Turning supplier price lists, which come in every format imaginable, into clean upload-ready templates • Reconciling catalogue pricing against contracts, BPAs and pricing schedules • Preparing bulk uploads and validation reports for Oracle Fusion / SSP • Working with suppliers and internal teams to fill data gaps and keep catalogues up to date • Setting up repeatable checks and trackers so the next update is quicker than the last Your Excel toolkit (the core of this role) • Must have: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, data validation, text functions (TRIM, CLEAN, LEFT/MID, TEXTSPLIT) • Strong plus: Power Query for merging and transforming supplier files, dynamic arrays (FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT), COUNTIFS/SUMIFS for audit checks • Bonus: Macros/VBA, Power Pivot, or dashboards that make data quality visible What else you bring • Hands-on catalogue or master data experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement and/or SAP Ariba • A good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and category/taxonomy structures • Experience with hosted and punchout catalogues is preferred • Strong attention to detail: you spot a wrong UOM straight away • Clear communication with suppliers and stakeholders • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, IT or a related field Quick self-check • Have you cleaned a supplier file with more than 5,000 lines in under an hour? ✔ • Do you check for duplicates before anyone asks you to? ✔ • Does a well-built pivot table make you a little happy? ✔ If you ticked all three, this role is for you.
