Computer and Virtualization Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

We are seeking a skilled Computer and Virtualization Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise virtualization, Windows Server, and endpoint management environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in VMware, Microsoft SCCM, Windows Server, infrastructure monitoring, patch management, and system optimization. Key Responsibilities Virtualization & Infrastructure • Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter environments. • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using VMware vRealize Suite (vROps). • Perform capacity planning, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. • Ensure high availability, performance, security, and operational reliability. Windows Server Administration • Manage Windows Server 2016 and above, including upgrades, migrations, patching, and troubleshooting. • Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues through to closure. • Support system hardening, security updates, and ongoing infrastructure optimization. SCCM & Endpoint Management • Create and deploy applications, packages, and task sequences using Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager. • Manage software deployment, endpoint patching, and security updates. • Support enterprise endpoint management and ensure systems remain secure and compliant. Monitoring & Optimization • Monitor infrastructure using tools, reports, logs, and operational dashboards. • Identify performance issues and recommend improvements. • Use PowerShell and automation to streamline routine administration and service delivery. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain technical documentation for VMware, SCCM, and Windows environments. • Support audits, compliance reviews, IT asset lifecycle activities, and system decommissioning. • Follow ITIL, change management, and standardized operational procedures. Vendor & Technical Support • Coordinate with VMware and Microsoft vendors for technical issues and escalations. • Manage support cases and follow up to ensure timely resolution of production issues. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vRealize/vROps. • Strong expertise in Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager. • Experience with Windows Server 2016 and above. • Strong understanding of virtualization, infrastructure monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning. • PowerShell, automation, and ITIL knowledge will be an advantage. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
