Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, organised, and results-driven Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from initiation through completion. The role is responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, quality, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with business objectives and agreed requirements. The Project Manager will work closely with senior management, clients, internal departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to coordinate activities, resolve issues, monitor progress, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, leadership, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities • Lead projects from initial concept, planning, and requirements gathering through execution, completion, handover, and close-out. • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, schedules, resources, responsibilities, and success criteria in consultation with relevant stakeholders. • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, procurement plans, resource requirements, and implementation timelines. • Coordinate project activities across internal departments, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. • Establish clear responsibilities, deadlines, communication channels, reporting procedures, and project governance requirements. • Monitor project progress against approved scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and agreed deliverables. • Track milestones, dependencies, critical activities, outstanding actions, and potential delays, taking corrective action where required. • Manage project budgets, expenditures, purchase orders, contracts, variations, forecasts, and cost controls in coordination with Finance and relevant departments. • Identify project risks, issues, constraints, assumptions, and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. • Maintain project risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, change registers, decision logs, and other project documentation. • Manage project changes by assessing their impact on scope, cost, resources, quality, and schedule before obtaining the appropriate approvals. • Coordinate project meetings, progress reviews, workshops, site meetings, stakeholder discussions, and management updates. • Prepare agendas, minutes, action items, progress reports, dashboards, presentations, and project status updates. • Ensure project deliverables meet agreed technical, operational, commercial, quality, and customer requirements. • Coordinate with technical and functional teams to review specifications, drawings, designs, documentation, requirements, testing, and implementation activities where applicable. • Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery. • Review quotations, proposals, schedules, work plans, deliverables, invoices, and performance against contractual requirements. • Coordinate procurement and ensure required materials, equipment, services, resources, and third-party support are available according to project timelines. • Monitor supplier and contractor performance and address delays, quality issues, scope deviations, and contractual concerns. • Ensure appropriate quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, user acceptance testing, implementation, handover, and final acceptance where applicable. • Work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, clarify expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment throughout the project. • Manage client and stakeholder communications professionally, providing transparent updates on progress, risks, costs, changes, and key decisions. • Escalate significant project risks, budget concerns, resource constraints, delays, or unresolved issues to senior management when necessary. • Ensure project activities comply with applicable company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and industry practices. • Maintain accurate project records, contracts, approvals, correspondence, technical documents, reports, and completion documentation. • Coordinate project close-out activities, including final inspections, documentation, handover, outstanding defects, financial reconciliation, lessons learned, and formal completion. • Review project performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, cost control, quality, and future project delivery. • Support the development and implementation of standard project management procedures, templates, reporting formats, and best practices. • Lead and motivate project team members, clarify priorities, monitor performance, and encourage effective collaboration. • Manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while maintaining priorities, deadlines, quality, and stakeholder expectations. • Maintain professional and confidential handling of sensitive commercial, financial, technical, client, and company information.
