Modern Workplace Solutions Architect DXC Technology | United Arab Emirates | On-site – Associate Manager Function: Modern Workplace – Support Services / Service Desk DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Solutions Architect to define and govern the architecture of modern workplace and end-user technology services within a large-scale technology transformation environment in the UAE. The role will be responsible for translating business, user-experience, security, and operational requirements into scalable Modern Workplace solutions covering endpoint management, digital workplace services, service desk, collaboration, identity, security, automation, and user support technologies. The successful candidate will combine strong Modern Workplace technical expertise with architecture, service-design, integration, and stakeholder-management capabilities, ensuring workplace technologies operate as an integrated and secure end-user ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Modern Workplace Architecture • Define and maintain the end-to-end Modern Workplace architecture, technical standards, patterns, and technology roadmap. • Design workplace solutions covering endpoint/device management, Windows endpoints, collaboration, productivity, identity, security, service desk, and digital employee experience. • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical architectures and solution designs. • Develop high-level and detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams, technology standards, and integration requirements. • Ensure Modern Workplace solutions align with overall enterprise architecture and technology strategy. Endpoint & Device Management Architecture • Define architecture for modern endpoint management using technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Entra ID, and related Microsoft technologies. • Define approaches for device provisioning, configuration, application delivery, compliance, patching, security, and lifecycle management. • Support transition from traditional endpoint-management models toward cloud-native and modern device-management approaches. • Define standards for Windows endpoint builds, configuration baselines, device compliance, and endpoint lifecycle management. Service Desk & Digital Employee Experience • Design technology capabilities supporting modern Service Desk and end-user support services. • Define integration between Service Desk, endpoint management, identity, monitoring, automation, and collaboration platforms. • Support implementation of self-service, knowledge management, automation, remote support, virtual-agent, and service-request capabilities. • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and reduce support demand through automation and proactive support. • Work with service-management teams to ensure solutions support agreed SLAs, operational processes, and service outcomes. Collaboration, Identity & Security • Define integration of workplace services with Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration technologies. • Ensure appropriate integration with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity services. • Incorporate endpoint security, device compliance, data protection, and Zero Trust principles into workplace architecture. • Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions comply with enterprise security and governance requirements. Integration & Technical Governance • Ensure Modern Workplace solutions integrate effectively with ITSM, network, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, IAM, applications, and monitoring platforms. • Participate in architecture and design reviews and provide technical governance for workplace solutions. • Review vendor and system-integrator designs and ensure alignment with approved architecture and standards. • Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies, design gaps, and integration issues and drive resolution. • Support technical decision-making across Modern Workplace workstreams. Transition & Delivery Support • Provide architectural oversight through design, build, testing, migration, deployment, cutover, and operational transition. • Work closely with engineering, Service Desk, endpoint, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and service-management teams. • Support solution validation, technical acceptance, and operational readiness. • Ensure architecture documentation and operational requirements are completed before transition into BAU. • Provide technical guidance to engineering and delivery teams throughout implementation. Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. • 9+ years of experience in Modern Workplace, EUC, endpoint management, workplace technology, or related infrastructure domains, including solution architecture or technical design responsibilities. • Proven experience designing enterprise Modern Workplace / Digital Workplace solutions. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM/MECM, Windows 11, and Microsoft Entra ID. • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive. • Experience designing workplace solutions integrating endpoint management, identity, security, collaboration, ITSM, and Service Desk technologies. • Understanding of Service Desk operating models, ITSM processes, self-service, automation, knowledge management, and digital employee experience. • Experience producing solution architectures, HLDs, technical designs, architecture diagrams, standards, and technology roadmaps. • Strong understanding of security principles including Zero Trust, Conditional Access, MFA, endpoint compliance, and device security. • Experience working across complex enterprise technology environments with multiple technical teams and vendors. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, technical governance, and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Experience • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, digital employee experience platforms, virtual agents, self-service, or service automation technologies. • Experience delivering large-scale Modern Workplace, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, endpoint modernization, or digital workplace transformation programs. • Experience with cloud-native endpoint management and migration from traditional SCCM-based environments toward Intune/Autopilot. • Experience within complex multi-vendor or Master Systems Integrator (MSI) environments. • UAE/GCC enterprise technology experience is advantageous. • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, Micro
