Senior Project Manager - 12 Months Contract

Summary We are looking for an experienced Project Management / PMO professional to lead transformation initiatives and special projects while ensuring strong project governance, performance tracking, and executive reporting. The role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable plans and ensure effective delivery, accountability, and alignment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in project management, PMO, transformation, strategy execution, or special projects. • Strong experience in PMO governance, project planning, project controls, risk management, and performance reporting. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership. • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic objectives into structured project plans and actionable deliverables. • Experience managing multiple initiatives and working across diverse functions. • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred. Roles & Responsibilities • Lead transformation initiatives and special projects from planning through execution and closure. • Develop project plans, milestones, timelines, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms. • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, and overall performance. • Prepare dashboards, status reports, governance packs, and steering committee materials for senior leadership. • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables. • Identify delivery risks, escalate key issues, and recommend corrective actions. • Drive PMO disciplines including governance, project controls, reporting cadence, and performance visibility. • Facilitate project meetings and workshops, track actions, and ensure accountability. • Support alignment between strategic business objectives and project execution.
