Project Architect - Interior Fitout

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Project Architect with strong experience in the interior fit-out industry to manage and coordinate projects from design development through execution and handover. The candidate will be responsible for design coordination, technical documentation, site coordination, consultant management, and ensuring projects are delivered according to quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Key Responsibilities • Lead architectural and interior fit-out projects from design development to project completion. • Review and develop architectural, interior, and construction drawings. • Prepare and coordinate working drawings, shop drawings, details, and specifications. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal design teams. • Manage day-to-day architectural and technical aspects of projects. • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. • Review materials, finishes, samples, and mock-ups to ensure compliance with design intent. • Coordinate with MEP, structural, civil, joinery, and other specialist contractors. • Identify design and construction issues and provide practical solutions. • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents. • Ensure proper coordination between design drawings and site execution. • Attend client, consultant, and site coordination meetings. • Monitor project schedules and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion. • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, authority requirements, health & safety standards, and project specifications. • Track drawing revisions and maintain proper project documentation. • Assist with snagging, inspections, and final handover of completed projects. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent. • 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably within interior fit-out, commercial interiors, hospitality, retail, or residential projects. • Strong experience in interior fit-out project execution and site coordination. • Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods. • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. • Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage. • Strong understanding of joinery, finishes, materials, ceiling, flooring, partitions, and other fit-out works. • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple project requirements and work under tight deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
