Role Description We are looking for a Civil Procurement Engineer – Civil & Infrastructure to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for civil and infrastructure projects, including materials, subcontracting services, and project-related requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing and issuing RFQs, evaluating technical and commercial proposals, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing comparison statements and purchase orders, and coordinating with project, engineering, commercial, and finance teams. The role requires strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi construction and infrastructure market, including local suppliers, subcontractors, material specifications, approval requirements, and procurement practices. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Strong experience in civil and infrastructure procurement, particularly for roads, utilities, bridges, and infrastructure projects. • Previous procurement experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory. • Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi supplier and subcontractor market. • Arabic speaking is mandatory, with good professional English communication skills. • Strong experience in RFQs, bid evaluations, comparison statements, negotiations, Purchase Orders, and supplier evaluation. • Good knowledge of civil construction materials, specifications, contractual requirements, and local market pricing. • Experience coordinating with project teams, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments. • Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and MS Office. • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple procurement packages and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
