The Logistics Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and execution of logistics activities throughout the project lifecycle. The role assists the Logistics Manager in implementing site logistics strategies, coordinating site establishment, managing material flows, monitoring logistics performance and ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety requirements and project programme. Operational Logistics Coordination: • Coordinate daily logistics operations across assigned project areas. • Support implementation of the Logistics Execution Plan. • Coordinate deliveries, storage and internal material movements. • Monitor logistics activities against the construction programme. • Escalate operational issues affecting productivity or programme. Site Establishment: • Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation activities. • Support installation of temporary facilities, welfare, hoarding, fencing and access gates. • Coordinate temporary utilities, logistics compounds and signage. • Assist with traffic management implementation. Resource Coordination: • Coordinate logistics manpower and plant allocation. • Support lifting operations planning. • Coordinate waste removal, housekeeping and delivery schedules. Stakeholder Coordination: • Liaise with Construction, HSE, MEP, Procurement, Commercial, Security, subcontractors and suppliers. • Attend coordination meetings and communicate logistics requirements. Digital Logistics: • Support Digital Logistics operations including Biometrics, Delivery Management System & SmartHoist. Risk, Safety & Compliance: • Support logistics audits and inspections. • Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements. • Identify and escalate logistics risks. • Monitor corrective actions. Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate implementation of Site Logistics Plans. • Coordinate material deliveries against programme. • Monitor storage areas and logistics compounds. • Assist with logistics layouts and temporary infrastructure. • Coordinate lifting operations with Appointed Persons. • Coordinate waste management and housekeeping. • Prepare weekly logistics reports and KPIs. • Support implementation of SOPs. • Coordinate subcontractor logistics requirements. • Monitor logistics manpower utilisation. • Assist with logistics cost control. • Support emergency logistics arrangements. • Coordinate traffic management. • Support mobilisation and demobilisation. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Welfare & Site establishment management including facilities. • Maintain logistics documentation and permits. • Coordinate interfaces between work fronts. General Responsibilities: • Adhere to company policies, procedures, code of conduct, and applicable regulations at all times. • Ensure full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) requirements. • Maintain confidentiality of company, project and employee information. • Complete all assigned documentation, reports and records accurately and within required timescales. • Support compliance with Logistics SOPs, standards and continuous improvement initiatives. • Assist with audits, inspections and the timely close-out of corrective actions. • Promote safe working practices, good housekeeping and efficient use of company resources. • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments, subcontractors and suppliers. • Participate in training and continually develop knowledge of logistics systems, processes and industry best practice. • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Logistics Manager.
