What You'll Do As an ME HR Services Specialist 12 month temporary role, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and employee-centric HR Services across the UAE and KSA. You will support the execution of core HR processes end-to-end, provide day-to-day functional guidance to the HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) team, and partner with stakeholders across the region to ensure seamless employee experience. In addition to operational excellence, you will contribute to continuously improving how HR Services are delivered by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, digitize, and automate processes. Your Responsibilities Include • Onboarding and Offboarding (UAE, KSA & Qatar): Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for employees across the UAE and KSA, including welcome calls, documentation, system set-up, and responding to new hires' queries, through to smooth and compliant exits. • Permits and Government Documentation: Proactively monitor permit expiry dates and manage renewals (including labor cards, exit/re-entry and similar government-mandated permits), coordinating with government relations agencies and outsourced service providers to keep all documentation current and compliant. • Pension and Social Insurance Management: Administer employee enrollment, contributions, and reconciliation for applicable pension and social insurance schemes, ensuring accurate records and timely compliance with statutory requirements. • HRSSC Oversight: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the HR Shared Services Center team, reviewing the quality and turnaround of transactional HR support (data entry, documentation, ticket resolution), providing guidance and coaching, and ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and BCG standards. • General HR Services: Deliver end-to-end HR Services support across the employee lifecycle, including employee queries, employee data management, transfers, letters, and record-keeping, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and local regulations. • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, managers, and stakeholders, coordinating with People functions, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused resolution of HR matters. • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports, track operational metrics, and support audits and internal controls, contributing to data-driven decision-making within the HR Services function. • Automation and Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR Services processes; support the design, testing, and implementation of workflow improvements and digital solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in HR Services processes across UAE and KSA and propose practical solutions, working closely with the ME HR Services Manager to help drive consistently high-quality operations. What You'll Bring • 3-4 years of experience in HR Services, HR Shared Services, or a similar operational environment, ideally with exposure to both UAE and KSA • Experience working with HR systems (Workday experience is an advantage). • Working knowledge of permit, visa, and pension/social insurance processes, and comfort navigating government and regulatory requirements. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI, automation, workflow, and low-code tools to improve operational efficiency. • Strong communication skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is a huge advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Who You'll Work With You'll be part of the Middle East HR Services team, supporting employees and stakeholders across the UAE, KSA & Qatar while partnering closely with the HR Shared Services Center team based in New Delhi. Reporting to the ME HR Services Manager, you'll collaborate with local HR colleagues based in Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha, regional leadership, and external partners (including visa agencies and government relations providers) to deliver efficient, employee-centric HR services and contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the region.
