Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer

The Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing and supporting civil and structural engineering design activities for the Projects. Key Responsibilities • Perform civil and structural analysis and design activities for Oil & Gas facilities. • Develop and review structural design calculations, engineering analyses and associated technical documentation. • Carry out structural modelling, analysis and design using STAAD.Pro and MAT3D. • Apply relevant American design codes and standards, including AISC and ACI, in engineering design activities. • Ensure designs comply with applicable TOTAL GS (General Specification) requirements. • Review civil/structural engineering drawings, calculations and design deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance. • Provide technical input and engineering solutions for structural design issues arising during project execution. • Coordinate civil/structural engineering interfaces with other engineering disciplines. • Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and technical coordination activities. • Identify design discrepancies, technical risks and potential engineering issues and recommend appropriate solutions. • Support technical queries, design clarifications and engineering changes relating to civil and structural works. • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project requirements, schedules and applicable standards. • Maintain appropriate engineering documentation and design records. • Support the engineering/project team as required throughout the assignment. Minimum Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. • Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience. • Extensive structural design experience specifically within the Oil & Gas industry. • Demonstrable experience working on major Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCC or similar engineering projects is highly desirable. • Strong experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis.
