External Job Description Senior Specialist – Business Development Abu Dhabi, UAE | EDGE Commercial EDGE Group is looking for a Senior Specialist – Business Development to support market development, opportunity identification and customer engagement across its advanced technology and defence portfolio. Key Responsibilities: • Identify new market and business development opportunities. • Conduct market, customer and competitor research. • Support opportunity qualification and pipeline management. • Prepare customer presentations, business cases and market assessments. • Support customer engagements, events and strategic partnerships. • Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities. • Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy or related roles. • Knowledge or experience in technologies and products in at least a few of the following areas: integrated C5ISR systems, C5ISR products, multi-intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT, etc), artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, autonomy, missiles, weapons, multi-domain systems and technologies, and tactical systems. • Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters, or experience with similar systems: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security, and Technology and Industrialization • Experience in the defense sector • Experience in one or more of EDGE’s key capabilities, including Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security or Technology. • Defence, aerospace, advanced technology or security sector experience is preferred. • Strong analytical, research, communication and presentation skills. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field.

8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy or related roles.

Knowledge or experience in technologies and products in at least a few of the following areas: integrated C5ISR systems, C5ISR products, multi-intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT, etc), artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, autonomy, missiles, weapons, multi-domain systems and technologies, and tactical systems.
