A Receptionist serves as the primary face and voice of an organization, managing front desk operations, visitor relations, and administrative tasks. Core Responsibilities • Visitor & Guest Management: Greet, welcome, and direct clients, visitors, or hotel guests professionally upon arrival. • Communication Handling: Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls and manage the main office email or WhatsApp inquiries. • Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and managing office mail or courier deliveries. • Front Desk Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and reception area supplied with necessary corporate materials or brochures. • Appointment Scheduling: Manage meeting room bookings, coordinate visitor appointments, and update calendar systems. • Office Security & Logistics: Issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logbooks, and monitor the reception access point to support office safety protocols. Key Requirements & Skills • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English is mandatory. Fluency in Arabic or other languages. • Technical Proficiency: Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), multi-line phone systems, and specialized industry software. • Interpersonal Skills: A polite, professional demeanor with a strong customer-centric attitude and the ability to handle high-stress situations gracefully. • Cultural Awareness: Comfort interacting with a diverse, international clientele and workforce daily. Education & Experience • Education: High school diploma is required at minimum; a bachelor's degree or specialized certificate in Office Administration is highly valued by corporate firms. • Experience: 3 to 5 years of local UAE experience is preferred, though entry-level opportunities exist in retail, medical clinics, and salons.
