As part of our Supervision Team, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Electrical to oversee and supervise electrical works across our high-rise developments. The role will involve close coordination with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable UAE regulations. Responsibilities include • Inspect and supervise electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements. • Review and verify the installation of cable containment, cable laying, terminations, panels, DBs, earthing, and lighting systems. • Conduct stage-wise inspections, including first fix, second fix, pre-testing, testing, and final handover. • Review and raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate inspections with the consultant/client. • Identify non-conformities, prepare NCRs and snag lists, and follow up on corrective actions and closure. • Witness and verify electrical testing activities, including insulation resistance, earth continuity, megger, load, and functional testing. • Monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and ensure compliance with approved method statements and project schedules. • Supervise and coordinate electrical contractors, subcontractors, and site teams. • Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, QA/QC documentation, and site reports. • Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve technical, design, and site-related issues. • Ensure all electrical works comply with DEWA, NFPA, IEC, Dubai Municipality, and other relevant authority requirements. • Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover activities. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in electrical engineering. • At least 3–5 years of consultancy experience with hands-on exposure to site inspection and supervision. • Proven experience working on high-rise tower construction projects, preferably in Dubai. • Strong knowledge of NFPA, IEC, DEWA, and applicable UAE/local authority regulations. • Strong understanding of electrical construction, inspection, testing, and commissioning processes. • Strong knowledge of approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
