ATI is looking for a full-time SENIOR SITE ARCHITECT to join its projects in Dubai. The Role As a Senior Site Architect, you will assume responsibility for the architectural and ID construction administration and quality control of mid-scale to large and challenging projects. You should be well organized and experienced, and exhibit excellent communication, technical and leadership skills to ensure successful coordination and delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate all architectural works on site from structural blockwork through to high‑end interior finishes, ensuring design intent, quality, and safety are maintained at every stage. • Supervise and direct the day to day activities of contractors and subcontractors for architectural and interior works, proactively resolving site issues and constraints. • Review and approve all architectural related contractor submissions (shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, mock‑ups) for compliance with design, specifications, and applicable codes. • Assess and coordinate design modifications and value engineering proposals, liaising with the design team to ensure changes are fully documented and consistent with the overall design intent. • Oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of construction documents on site, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation, ensuring that the latest approved revisions are used. • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on architectural and interior finishes (e.g., masonry, waterproofing, cladding, partitions, ceilings, joinery, stone, tiling, metal works, glazing, and bespoke fit outs) to ensure workmanship meets luxury project standards. • Respond to RFIs in a timely and technically sound manner, providing clear instructions and sketches/details where required. • Monitor progress of architectural works against the approved program, identify potential delays, and support the project team in implementing recovery measures where necessary. • Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and secure required approvals. • Ensure full compliance with client requirements, project specifications, building codes, fire & life safety regulations, accessibility standards, and other statutory regulations. • Support the implementation and continual improvement of project procedures, quality standards, and site‑based workflows related to architectural works. • Prepare and contribute to technical reports, punch lists, snagging and de‑snagging activities, handover documentation, and as‑built reviews. • Work on high‑level architectural tasks and deliverables for multiple projects when required, effectively prioritizing and managing time and resources. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor and preferably Post Graduate Degree in Architecture. • 15+ Years’ experience within a high-profile design consultancy; in the design and delivery of complex projects covering a variety of typologies from medium to large scale. (preferably to include high-rise mixed-use, residential, commercial, hotels, and education buildings) • 8+ years of relevant consultancy experience in the UAE. • Accreditation from a recognized international body is preferred. (AIA / RIBA) • LEED AP or USGBC Guiding Principles certification is preferred. • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk software suite including REVIT, Navisworks, BIM 360 & AutoCAD. • Comprehensive knowledge of UAE construction regulations, local authority requirements, materials, suppliers, codes, and best-practice detailing. • Proficiency in CSI specification formats, standard material submittal processes, and inspection protocols. • Proven ability to solve complex construction challenges and contribute effectively to design solutions. • Excellent time-management skills with a proactive approach to streamlining workflows and enhancing operational quality and efficiency.
