Job Overview: The Senior Project Manager – Power Substation is responsible for the end-to-end management of high-voltage substation projects, ensuring successful delivery within the scope, timeline, and budget. This role oversees all aspects of project planning, design, execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also requires strong leadership in coordinating between stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams. Key Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for substation projects. • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with client objectives. • Lead the project execution, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as government authorities, utilities, and subcontractors. • Manage, mentor, and guide a team of engineers, technicians, and site personnel. • Ensure effective communication within the project team and resolve conflicts when necessary. • Provide leadership in monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions where needed. • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Handle any technical or administrative issues that arise during the project lifecycle. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures. • Oversee all testing, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure the substation meets technical and regulatory standards. • Monitor project financial performance, ensuring adherence to budget and cost management processes. • Oversee contract negotiations and manage the performance of contractors and vendors. • Ensure contract terms and conditions are met and address any contractual disputes. • Ensure that all HSE policies and practices are adhered to by all project personnel. • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. • Provide detailed project updates, identifying risks, milestones, and project status. • Responsible for P&L of the payments and ensure profitability of the project. • Ensure to meet the client expectation without compromising quality and Budget. • Adhere to company regulation as and when change and implement the same across project. • Compliance requirement to be adhered to without compromising quality. Educational Qualification and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
