About the Role The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst – Budgeting & Reporting to join its Office of Finance. This role will support financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while helping strengthen the University’s financial systems, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities. • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely availability of financial information for management and decision-making. • Support the effective implementation, adoption and ongoing enhancement of ERP-enabled finance processes, including Oracle and Banner. • Contribute to process improvements, system controls, workflow enhancements and standardization of Finance processes within the ERP environment. • Develop, maintain and utilize financial dashboards, reports and analytical tools to support management reporting and performance monitoring. • Monitor financial data and transactions across relevant systems, identify discrepancies or trends, and coordinate timely resolution. • Support budgetary controls, expenditure monitoring, forecasting and analysis against approved plans. • Provide Finance-related support for system changes, testing, reporting requirements, data validation and user requirements. Key Result Areas and Duties KRA 1: Accounting and Financial Reporting (60%) KRA 2: Budgeting and Planning (40%) Academic and Professional Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA. Work Experience Essential: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting within a large organization.
