Job Description Key Duties and Responsibility • Analyze and check all expenses incurred and revenues earned and recommend corrective measures where necessary in order to follow all accounting procedures, principles and standards so that transparency and accuracy may be effected. • Control, initiate, develop, improve and review all accounting procedures in order to have detailed results of financial transactions so that general accepted accounting principles may be followed and systems may be set in place. • Elaborate, estimate, communicate and forecast all the different types of financial reports in order provide upper management with accurate qualitative and quantitative information so that they will be able to make balanced and accurate decisions related to the strategic direction of the School. • Secure, ratify, verify and advise on necessary checks and balances within the accounting framework in order to streamline procedures and create transparency so that the processing times of all transactions may be greatly reduced. • Collect, analyze, develop and report the entire operating budget as well as provide management financial strategy in the form of quantitative financial budget and forecasts in order that financial viability of the organization may be maintained so that all divisions will remain within the parameters of the financial revenues and expenses developed at the start of the year. • Direct, initiate, delegate and supervise a wide range of additional duties determined by the line manager in order that the various operations within the School run in clockwork fashion and levels of satisfaction both externally and internally are met with. • Review and resolve any inconsistencies in the invoice and Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures. • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or necessary correspondence for filing and that all files are kept secure, not only invoices but also all other supporting documents. • Process tax returns and refunds. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
