The Role The Construction Project Manager / Construction Manager will take responsibility for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams, the successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage construction projects through all stages of project delivery. • Develop and manage construction programmes, schedules and project delivery plans. • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and specialist service providers. • Monitor project progress against programme, budget and agreed milestones. • Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. • Ensure construction activities comply with required quality, health, safety and environmental standards. • Review contractor performance and ensure work is completed to the required specifications. • Manage site meetings and coordinate communication between key project stakeholders. • Prepare regular project progress reports for clients and senior management. • Support the management of project budgets, costs, variations and commercial issues. • Monitor construction quality and ensure defects and technical issues are addressed promptly. • Assist with project commissioning, completion, handover and close-out activities. • Build strong professional relationships with clients and contribute to the company's reputation for excellent project delivery.
