Debt Capital Markets Lawyer

We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Debt Capital Markets team within their Dubai office. The Role The successful candidate will join a globally ranked Banking & Finance practice, handling a range of high-value, complex capital markets matters. The candidate’s duties will work across a spectrum of global issues, with duties including assisting with transaction management, from inception to close, drafting transaction documents, assisting with general banking mandates, drafting facility agreements, security documents and ancillary documents, and assisting with structured products and derivatives mandates, including assisting partners on product development. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with across a range of multidisciplinary teams, alongside a renowned client base. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships. Essential Criteria • 1-4 PQE; • Strong background in general banking & DCM transactions within a medium to large commercial firm; • Excellent commercial awareness; • Outstanding academics; • Technically excellent; • Negotiation skills; • Willingness to become involved in business development; • Ability to work independently and as a team.
