Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, including processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently. Daily tasks include issuing receipts, managing the cash drawer, balancing tills at the start and end of shifts, and maintaining records of all transactions. The role also involves providing courteous customer service, answering billing and payment inquiries, and coordinating with the finance or accounting team for reporting and reconciliations. The Cashier is expected to follow company policies, adhere to security and compliance procedures, and support a smooth, professional front-desk or point-of-sale experience. Qualifications • Strong cash-handling, basic accounting, and numerical skills, with attention to accuracy and detail. • Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with diverse clients. • Comfort using point-of-sale systems, billing software, and standard office tools (e.g., MS Office). • Ability to follow procedures, maintain transaction records, and support reconciliation and reporting tasks. • Previous experience as a cashier, teller, or in a similar transactional role is preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in finance, accounting, or business is an advantage. • Reliability, integrity, and the ability to work on-site full time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in Dubai is a plus.
